Capitol Pressroom Interview

On March 4th, CSCS Program Manager and NYSAR3 Organics Council Chair, Jesse Kerns, was featured on The Capitol Pressroom, a WCNY public radio program. Host Dave Lombardo interviewed Mr. Kerns about the current state of composting and anaerobic digestion (AD) in New York State in light of the recently implemented NYS Food Donation and Food Scraps Recycling law. Covered topics included the differences between composting and AD, the impacts the new law is having on the industry, strategies the State can use to encourage further diversion and recycling of food scraps, and more.
